At Coppergate Equestrian we believe that a variety of riding options is the best way to learn and grow. Our private and group lessons are taught in a beautiful and well maintained outdoor sand arena. In addition to ring work, we also offer trail lessons for our students, and are well versed in a variety of disciplines from English to Western.
We teach basic equitation(English and western), dressage, jumping, as well as reining. Building a foundation of strong basic skills is the cornerstone of the program. Our fun and laid back environment gives students a safe space to face new challenges and build confidence.
Pricing:
1/2 hour private lesson - $50
1 hour group - $50
1 hour beginner(1/2 hour of riding) - $55
Half-leasing starting at $300 per month

Other Equine Services
In addition to lessons, we offer both half and full lease opportunities. Leasing allows the rider to build a stronger bond with a specific horse, with the benefits of skills progression in scheduled lessons and the freedom and pleasure of riding more often independently.
Horse training is offered for green horses, horses that need a little correction, and anyone looking to keep their horse in shape. Vanessa Lacter has over 17 years of horse experience as well as 11 years training experience with a variety of horses. A variety of disciplines are welcome.

Vanessa Lacter, owner of the program, has made it her life's work to create a riding environment with balance; with a goal not just for everyone to improve but to also enjoy their sport with no limits. Variety is key to keeping riding a fun adventure that challenges each horse and rider to improve and develop their riding at their own pace.
Vanessa has experience not just with kids and lessons, but training horses in all walks of life. She has worked with young green horses, show horses, and everything in between. Vanessa's teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that ground work, combined with strong foundational skills, is the key to lifelong success in riding and working with horses..
